    El estudio de la Beturia del siglo II y I a.C. En la provincia de Badajoz es sin duda uno de los temas más complejos debido a la gran cantidad de res-tos arqueológicos que se encuentran en su territorio, la mayoría no han sido estudiados en profundidad. Desde este escrito se intenta aclarar tanto las vías pedestres y divisorias como los límites geopolíticos no solo con la presencia de pueblos autóctonos sino también con la llegada de los romanos que fueron los que transformaron el paisaje y las estructuras sociales que existían hasta ese momento. Las primeras manifestaciones escritas se encuentran en la gran obra Historia Natural de Plinio el Viejo haciendo un estudio sobre la ruta que pudo haber seguido a su paso por la provincia de Badajoz.

    The study of the Beturia of the 2nd and 1st century BC. In the province of Badajoz is undoubtedly one of the most complex issues due to the large number of archaeological remains found in its territory, most have not been studied in depth. From this paper we try to clarify both the pedestrian and dividing ways and geopolitical limits not only with the presence of native peoples but also with the arrival of the Romans who were the ones who transformed the landscape and the social structures that existed up to that moment. The first written statements are in the great work Natural History of Pliny the Elder, making a study on the route that could have followed its passage through the province of Badajoz
