    Borders or neighbourhood boundaries of cities can constitute edge spaces of multiple configurations. Earlier or later created, they are updated or renewed with the influence of the transforming forces that have acted in time and history. In line with this temporality and as the land is occupied, the cities have been widening (inflating) so that the margins have become neuralgic centres, this also happening in the opposite direction; the central nucleus of an epoch can be diluted in periphery after the urbanizing processes and with the push of the socio-cultural, political and economic currents. In this research work we will gather sorne of the examples that can be intuited in Bilbao in one way or another in recent decades, emphasizing that those environments of apparent lower density and interest, can become extremely complex places. The change of the urban physiognomy resonates in the social physiognomy, its ordering and functions, often producing wounds; between the aesthetics of streets, buildings, viaducts, parks and gardens

    Hirietako auzo-ertzak mota guztietako muga-espazioak izan daitezke. Berriak ala zaha rragoak, historian eta denboran gertatu diren transformazio-indarren eraginpean sortuak eta eguneratuak lirateke. Denboraltasun horren harían eta lurzoruak okupatu ahala, hi riguneak handituz (puztuz) joan izan dira hiri-bazterrak erdigune bilakatu arte, alderan tzizko norabidean ere gauzatuz¡ garai baten erdi-erdiko zentroa zena zinez barreiatu daiteke ezein hirigintza prozesuen ostean eta gizarteko korronte soziokultural, politiko zein ekonomikoen bultzadaz. Ikerlan honetan bai modu batean eta bestelakoan Bilbon azken hamarkadotan atzeman daitezkeen eredu batzuk aipatuko ditugu, ustez dentsitate edota arreta gutxiagokoak izan daitezkeen ingurune horiek ere batzuetan paraje osoro konplexuak direla ohartaraziz. Fisonomía urbanoaren aldaketak gizarte-fisonomian, an tolaketan eta eginkizunetan esku-hartzen du maíz zauriak produzituz¡ kaleen, eraikinen, errepideen nahiz lorategien estetika bitarteko.
