    Este proyecto de investigación-gestión se enmarca en las nuevas dimensiones que adquiere la Preservación Patrimonial. La ampliación a disciplinas que involucran ambiente, territorio, paisaje e itinerarios culturales constituye el nuevo corpus de la gestión patrimonial integral. La propuesta busca facilitar los procesos de concientización y apropiación de los aspectos que caracterizan el patrimonio ambiental, natural y cultural de las localidades ubicadas en el territorio del corredor del bajo río Uruguay. A partir de la selección de nodos e hitos patrimoniales representativos en cada una de las localidades involucradas y con la asistencia y coordinación de especialistas temáticos, se propone diseñar y construir Mapas Patrimoniales Colaborativos.

    Esta herramienta permite construir el conocimiento integral de un territorio al utilizar dinámicas y técnicas vivenciales y mediante una metodología colaborativa, de tal modo que cada comunidad local pueda plasmar los aspectos más relevantes que caracterizan su patrimonio cultural y natural, así como sentar las bases para encarar futuras políticas y acciones concretas de puesta en valor y preservación patrimonial desde la gestión pública y privada.

    This research-policy project is set in the new dimensions of Heritage Preservation. Disciplines connected with the environment, territory, landscape and cultural issues constitute the new corpus of an integral heritage. The proposal seeks to facilitate the process of raising awareness on preservation and learning about the aspects that characterize the heritage of the environment and culture belonging to the places along the Corridor of the low Uruguay river. By the selection of heritage landmarks in each of the places mentioned above and with the assistance and coordination of specialists, the propose is to design and make Colaborative Heritage Maps.

    This tool facilitates building up an integral knowledge of a territory, using dynamic an experiential resources, with a collaborative research, that allows every local community show their salient aspects of their cultural and environmentantal heritage, and also pave the way for future policies and concrete actions to enhance heritage preservation from public and private sectors.
