    Analiza el desgaste del sistema democrático y de los partidos políticos al amparo del avance en las tecnologías de la información y de la comunicación que han tenido un impacto trascendental en la evolución de los partidos y los sistemas de partidos ante el referido nuevo ciclo político latinoamericano. Dentro del llamado cuarto ciclo político de la región se presentan síntomas de fatiga de la democracia, en donde también están presentes las nuevas formas de comunicación (redes sociales) y que se evidencia en el malestar que impera en las sociedades y la crisis que afecta a las instituciones representativas

    It analyzes the erosion of the democratic system and the political parties in light of the advancement in information technology and communication, which have had a transcendental impact in the evolution of parties and the party system in regard to the so called new Latin American political cycle. Within this fourth political cycle of the region, there are signs of fatigue of the democracy in which the new forms of communication are also present (social networks), and which is evident in the discontent of the societies and the crisis that affects the representative institutions
