En el presente estudio rescatamos la figura del diplomático y compositor aragonés Eduardo Viscasillas Blanque (1848-1938) coincidiendo con los aniversarios de su nacimiento y fallecimiento. Se trata de la primera parte de su biografía, que comprende su infancia y juventud hasta finales del siglo XIX. De esta primera etapa son algunas de sus obras principales, como su Salve Regina (op. 15, 1886); Notte in Venezia (op. 14, 1887); o Gradual a Santa Cecilia (op. 16, 1887).
In this paper we present the figure of the Aragonese diplomat and composer Eduardo Viscasillas Blanque (1848-1938) in the anniversaries of his birth and death. This is the first part of his biography, which includes his childhood and youth until the end of the 19th century. From this first stage are some of his main works, such as Salve Regina (op. 15, 1886); Notte in Venezia (op. 14, 1887); or Gradual a Santa Cecilia (op. 16, 1887).
