Resumen de Hidroescudos: funcionamiento del sistema de gestión de la excavación

El presente artículo pretende hacer una pequeña introducción sobre el funcionamiento del sistema hidráulico de los hidroescudos y más en particular a su sistema encargado del control de la excavación. Para ello se hablará sobre uno de los procesos fundamentales y de más difícil control, tal y como es el SISTEMA DE GESTIÓN DE LA EXCAVACIÓN. Veremos cuales son los instrumentos utilizados para medir el material excavado, así como los fundamentos matemáticos utilizados para comprobar que la excavación de cada anillo se está realizando de forma correcta sin provocar ningún tipo de sobrexcavación que pudiera inducir asientos superficiales en el futuro. De igual manera se explicará el funcionamiento del sistema de control secundario y las bases para determinar los finos remanentes dentro del circuito de lodos.

This article intends to introduce the reader on the operation of the slurry TBM's hydraulic system and more in particular to its excavation management system. In arder to that, we will discuss one of the main processes and also one of the most difficult ones to be controlled, the EXCAVATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM. We will be able to discover which instruments are used to measure the excavated material, as well as the mathematical foundations to verify that the ring excavation is being correctly performed without causing any type of over -excavation that could induce surface settlements in the future. In the same way, we will talk about the secondary control system operation and the basics to determine remanent fines within the slurry circuit.
