Given the notable increase in the number of cases in which owners of dwellings cannot make use of them because they are unduly occupied, in a short period of time the legislator has faced two reforms of the Civil Procedural Act to regulate the eviction from these dwellings, generating two ways to achieve the same end. Both respond to a different problem and therefore officiate different solutions. In this article we are going to study the two reforms, placing special emphasis on the differences, both from a purely procedural point of view and from the prism of the social problems underlying each of the assumptions, which is what really justifies these differences.
