Morbilidad y tolerancia de la biopsia transrectal ecodirigida en 392 pacientes

    Creemos que es importante dar a nuestros pacientes una información previa a la exploración lo más precisa posible, que sea capaz de resolver todas las posibles dudas que les plantee y que les permita afrontarla con tranquilidad. Así mismo pretendemos confirmar la buena tolerancia de la exploración.

    Se valoró la respuesta emitida a encuesta voluntaria que se entregó a los 600 primeros pacientes a los que se realizó punción biopsia prostática ecodirigida (PBPE), pistola automática con aguja de 18 G (Gauges) de calibre y obtención de seis muestras, tres en cada lóbulo.

    De las 600 encuestas contestaron 392 pacientes (65.3%). El 29.9% no refirieron ningún tipo de complicación. Solo un 3.8% acudieron a urgencias. Llama la atención que el sangrado es el 59.6% del total. Un porcentaje casi despreciable desearía anestesia o refiere que la exploración es muy dura. Hay que insistir a los pacientes en la alta probabilidad de sangrado de escasa cuantía y de su posible prolongación en el tiempo.

    We think that is important to give our patients a previous information as precise as posible about the exploration, that could be able to resolve all possible doubts that could appear and can put face to it with composure. In like manner we try to ratify the good tolerance of the exploration.

    Was evaluated the answer of a voluntary inquiry of the first 600 patients to whom was realizated the ultrasound-guided prostatic biopsy punction, with automatic needle 18 G and obtaining six samples, three in each lobe.

    Of the 600 inquiries answers 392 patients (65.3%). The 29.9% didn´t relate any kind of complication. Only the 3.8% wen´t to emergency room. It´s noticeable that the bleeding was the 59.6% of the total. An inappreciable percentage would like anaesthesia or suggest that the exploration is so hard. We have to insist to the patients about the high probability of bleed in short quantity and prolongated in time.

    Ekografikoki Bideratutako Prostataren Biopsia (EBPB) egindako lehenengo seiehun (600) gaixoei borondatezko inkesta zuzendu genien eta bere erantzunak baloratu ditugu.

    Biopsia egiteko, pistola automatikoa 18Gko orratzarekin erabili dugu. Prostataren lobulo lateral bakoitzetik hiru (3) lagin atera ditugu. Kasu batzuetan laginen kopurua hadiagoa izan da. Seiehunetik, hirurehun eta larogeita hamabik (392) erantzun zuten (% 65,3ak).

    Erantzuleen artean, %29,9ak ez zuen konplikaziorik nozitu. %3,8ak larrialdietara jo behar izan zuen.

    Odoljarioa %59,6an gertatu zen eta hau kontutan hartzeko kopurua da. Horrela gauzak, aurreratu behar zaie odoljarioa sarritan gertatzen dela eta egun batzuetan luzatzen dela, nahiz eta kantitate urria izan.

    Oso pertsona gutxik adierazi digute mina jasanezina zela edo anestesiaren beharra dagoenik.
