  • The Middle Carboniferous (Upper Bashkiran-Moscovian) at the La Huelga beach section is represented by more than 1500 m of almost exclusive/y calcareous deposits. The abundant brachiopods supplied by this series allow to establish comparisons with those present in other /ocalities with diverse litho/ogies. Besides, the data provided by the brachiopods concerning the age of the succession and their relationships with other geographical areas are analized.
