  • The "sardic unconformity» (near the Cambrian-Ordovician boundary}, ocurring in the middle part of the Armorican Quartzite-Barrios Fm., is for the first time reported in the Cantabrian Zone. A e/ose comparison with the Cambro-Ordovician successions in other regions is then possible, having important tecto-sedimentary conc/usions.
