  Partimos de un convencimiento y es que el «patrimonio industrial», genéricamente concebido, debe interpretarse con decenas de disciplinas, mediante una conceptualización que, a través de la historia, unifica cualquiera de los criterios nacionales o regionales. La amplitud de los estudios relativos al patrimonio de la industria, no sólo y únicamente conciben la existencia de un núcleo fabril constituido por el espacio donde se radicó la industria. De hecho, la geografía dictó una órden subliminal al inversor para radicarse en determinado sitio en busca de apropiarse de algún recurso, pero ha sido el relato histórico que ha envuelto a esta actividad del hombre y lo ha vinculado a su razón de ser cultural, ampliando el concepto del patrimonio hasta sus máximos confines. Es el patrimonio industrial, pues, un formato de la ciencia en general y la investigación en particular que nos hace trascender fronteras; que elimina conceptos micro-territoriales y que nos vincula a un fenómeno que ha nacido como su principal consecuencia la globalización

  We start from a conviction and that the "industrial heritage", generically conceived, must be interpreted with dozens of disciplines, through a conceptualization that, through history, unifies any of the national or regional criteria. The breadth of the studies related to the heritage of the industry, not only and only conceive the existence of a manufacturing nucleus constituted by the space where the industry settled. In fact, the geography dictated a subliminal order to the investor to settle in a certain place in search of appropriating some resource, but it has been the historical story that has involved this activity of man and has linked it to his cultural reason of being, expanding the concept of heritage to its maximum limits. It is industrial heritage, then, a format of science in general and research in particular that makes us transcend borders; that eliminates micro-territorial concepts and that links us to a phenomenon that has been born as its main consequence. the globalization
