La estrategia del debate abre un horizonte de reflexión en cuanto a la preservación del medio ambiente y la interacción hombre-naturaleza. El objetivo general de la investigación fue demostrar el impacto de la Estrategia del Debate en el fortalecimiento de conciencia ambiental en los estudiantes del II ciclo de Educación Inicial de la Universidad Nacional Interculturalidad de La Amazonia, Pucallpa. Se utilizó el enfoque cuantitativo y cualitativo y el diseño preexperimental y el instrumento, el cuestionario. El impacto de la Estrategia del Debate en el fortalecimiento de conciencia ambiental fue significativo con (p <0,05). Apoyado con el estudio cualitativo con mejoras en responsabilidad ecológica, destino del planeta y aún más, su sostenibilidad. Esto se logra a través del diálogo regido por el proceso de argumentación, a fin de generar intervenciones preventivas en la solución de problemas; de manera que el participante comprenda que forma parte de un gran todo llamado medio ambiente, y que lo debe proteger. Lo afirmado es corroborado por el pensamiento de Aldous Huxley: “La conciencia solo es posible a través del cambio; el cambio solo es posible a través del movimiento”.

The discussion strategy opens a horizon of reflection, in terms of the preservation of the environment and man-nature interaction. The general objective research was to demonstrate the impact of the Discussion Strategy in the strengthening of environmental awareness in the students of II Initial Education cycle by National Intercultural University of La Amazonia, Pucallpa. The quantitative and qualitative approach and the pre-experimental design were used. The instrument was the questionnaire. The impact of the Discussion Strategy in strengthening environmental awareness was significant with (p <0.05). Supported with the qualitative study research with improvements in ecological responsibility, destination of the planet, even more its sustainability. This is achieved through the dialogue guided by the argumentation process, in order to generate preventive interventions in the solution of problems; with the understanding that the participant is part of a great whole called environment, and that he must protect it. To affirm it, it corroborates Aldous Huxley's thought: "The conscience is only possible through the change; the change is only possible through movement".
