Resumen de As exposições industriais em Novo Hamburgo e sua relação com a constituição da cidade e seus valores

  This research search to reflect on the industrial expositions in Novo Hamburgo in the early twentieth century. We understand that these exhibitions can be considered moments of celebration that project models of society and serve as instruments of dissemination of the ideals of the current regime. We will identify the main events that occurred in the city and we will carry out an analysis of the material found in the collection of the Municipal Archive of Novo Hamburgo, such as photographs, posters and newspaper clippings. These commemorative exhibitions had a pedagogical and political character that allowed the transmission of the values of the local hegemonic groups, as well as instilling in the population that attended them the idea of progress and rupture with an archaic and backward past. The theoretical reference of the investigation is based on the authors Mona Ozouf, Bronislaw Baczko and Margaret Bakos

  Esta pesquisa busca refletir sobre as exposições industriais em Novo Hamburgo no início do século XX. Entendemos que estas exposições podem ser consideradas momentos de comemoração que projetam modelos de sociedade e servem como instrumentos de divulgação dos ideais do regime vigente. Identificaremos os principais eventos que ocorreram na cidade e realizaremos uma análise do material que se encontra no acervo do Arquivo Municipal de Novo Hamburgo, como fotografias, cartazes e recortes de jornal. Estas exposições comemorativas possuíam um caráter pedagógico e político que possibilitavam a transmissão dos valores dos grupos hegemônicos locais, além de incutir na população que as frequentava a ideia de progresso e de ruptura com um passado arcaico e atrasado. O referencial teórico da investigação tem como base os autores Mona Ozouf, Bronislaw Baczko e Margaret Bakos
