    Las precursoras que consolidaron su obra artística y literaria en los años 20 y 30 del siglo XX, establecen un nuevo modelo de mujer que desafía los cánones establecidos y que participa activamente en los movimientos modernistas y de vanguardia de la época. Estas autoras y creadoras dejaron una herencia sustentada en su actividad constante y de referencia en campos tan variados como la escritura, la pintura, la escultura, la ilustración o la filosofía. Pero sus aportaciones a la realidad española están todavía poco estudiadas y, en su gran mayoría, han quedado al margen de las antologías y los manuales de arte y literatura hasta nuestros días. De ahí, la importancia de revelar los nombres y rescatar las obras de estas mujeres pertenecientes a la Generación del 27, en una etapa de entreguerras, de vanguardia femenina nunca vivida antes en España. Una de esas pioneras fue Marga Gil Roësset (1908-1932) escultora, ilustradora y poetisa que se mantuvo próxima a la esfera literaria más destacada de la época. En su corta vida dio sobradas muestras de innovación y experimentación que tendremos la oportunidad de mostrar para reivindicar y valorar su trabajo y recuperar su memoria del olvido

    The precursors who found their artistic and literary works accepted during the 1920s and the 1930s established a new template for women seeking to defy the canon and participate actively in the modernist movements at the forefront of their era. These powerfully creative minds left a legacy forged from a constant and notable presence in fields as diverse as literature, paintings, sculpture, drawing and philosophy. However, their contribution to Spanish work at the time was relatively neglected, largely remaining a mere footnote in the literary and artistic anthologies and textbooks of their own eras. There is, therefore, an obligation to seek out the identities and celebrate the works of these women of the Generation of '27, whose unprecedented volume of feminine creative output, during a period between two world wars, had never been experienced before in Spain.One of those pioneers was Marga Gil Roësset (1908-1932): sculptor, artist and poet; who remained close to the most celebrated literary circle of the era. During her short life she produced many innovative and experimantive works, that we now have the opportunity of rescuing from relative obscurity and appreciating in terms of their true artistic value
