  The article deals with the history of the workers and workers in the ceramic industry floors and Criciuma tiles. Through the interviews and the analysis of other documents such as the functional chips, it was revealed aspects such as union organization, the discipline of the factory, the control of charge and forms of resistance articulated by workers and employees

  O artigo trata da história das trabalhadoras e trabalhadores do setor cerâmico de pisos e azulejos de Criciúma. Inicialmente aborda-se a diversificação do parque industrial de Criciúma a partir da década de 1960. O setor cerâmico cresceu rapidamente nesse período, destacando-se as cerâmicas Cesaca e Cecrisa, que foram as maiores do setor na década de 1970. A questão central do artigo é analisar as diversas experiências que as trabalhadoras e trabalhadores vivenciaram no espaço fabril e que levou a construção da categoria de trabalhadores ceramistas. Através das entrevistas e da analise de outros documentos, como as fichas funcionais, foi possível perceber aspectos como a organização sindical, a disciplina da fábrica, o controle dos encarregados e as formas de resistências articuladas pelas trabalhadoras e trabalhadores
