One of the most celebrated celebrations in the cathedral of Burgo de Osma was the chant of the Calenda and the matins of the Christmas night. In it, they emphasize the presence of the carols replacing the responsories, each year with lyrics and new music. The population flocked to listen to them because they attracted a great attraction, partly because they written in Castilian and with numerous rhetorical figures, and partly because musically, they were more in line with the aesthetics of each moment. Along with them are not missing the instruments, plain singing and polyphony.
