  • Resumen
    • This essay examines the epistemological stance, called “the rationality of traditions,” that MacIntyre has taken in all of his philosophical work since the publication of Epistemological Crises, Dramatic Narrative, and the Philosophy of Science in 1977. The essay distinguishes the rationality of traditions from MacIntyre’s substantive commitments to the Thomistic-Aristotelian tradition, examines the connections between narrative and tradition in his philosophy, and shows that MacIntyre’s latest books continue to utilize the rationality of traditions.
