Clima familiar y agresividad en estudiantes del nivel secundario de un colegio de Lima Sur

    Objetivo: determinar la relación entre el clima familiar y la agresividad en estudiantes del nivel secundario de un colegio de Lima Sur de Lima Metropolitana. Materiales y métodos:  estudio correlacional con diseño no experimental-transversal. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 246 estudiantes. Se utilizaron la Escala de Clima Social en la Familia (FES) de los autores R.H. Moss y E. J. Trickett, que posteriormente fue estandarizado en Lima por César Ruiz Alva y Eva Guerra en 1993, y el Cuestionario de Agresividad (AQ) de Buss y Perry adaptado en el Perú por María Matalinares, et al. Para el análisis inferencial se empleó la prueba de Chi-cuadrado. Resultados: las dimensiones del Clima Social Familiar se relacionan significativamente con los niveles de la agresividad, sin embargo, la dimensión relaciones no se asoció con la agresividad verbal. Además, se encontró relación en la variable religión con la dimensión desarrollo (p=0.041), la dimensión relaciones y la agresividad total (p=0.000); así también, la agresividad física se relacionó con la variable tipo de familia (p=0.040) y la variable número de hermanos (p=0.016). Conclusión: finalmente, esta investigación permite afirmar que el clima familiar influye en el comportamiento de los estudiantes, específicamente en la manifestación de la agresividad que demuestran en las relaciones interpersonales.

    Objective: to determine the relationship between family climate and aggressiveness in secondary school students of a school in Lima South of Metropolitan Lima. Materials and methods: correlational study with non-experimental-transversal design. The sample was composed of 246 students. The Social Climate in the Family Scale (FES) of the authors R.H. Moss and E. J. Trickett, which was later standardized in Lima by César Ruiz Alva and Eva Guerra in 1993, and the Buss and Perry Aggression Questionnaire (AQ) adapted in Peru by María Matalinares, et al. For the inferential analysis, the Chi-square test was used. Results: the dimensions of the Family Social Climate are significantly related to the levels of aggression, however, the relationships dimension was not associated with verbal aggression. In addition, a relationship was found in the religion variable with the development dimension (p=0.041), the relations dimension and total aggressiveness (p=0.000); likewise, physical aggression was related to the family type variable (p=0.040) and the sibling number variable (p=0.016). Conclusion: finally, this research allows us to affirm that the family atmosphere influences the behavior of the students, specifically in the manifestation of the aggressiveness that they show in interpersonal relationships.
