  • The article presents an interview with visual artist Joan Jonas and marine biologist and ocean explorer David Gruber. Among the issues they discussed include the process that Jonas used in making her exhibition "Moving Off the Land II" which focused on underwater ecologies and creatures, how their common interest in fish perception. led to a dialogue which centered around art and science, and their collaboration in the exhibition which is currently on view at Ocean Space in Venice, Italy.
