The article challenges philosophical theories on global warming that share an implicit treatment of the outside as an unformatted singularity, reducing the role of this outside to a disruptor of immanent human cognition. Topics covered include the implications of these theories for artistic and curatorial practice, link between Object-Oriented Ontology (OOO) and the Kantian sublime, and the division of intellectual labor caused by the taxonomy arranged by modern philosophy.
