  • The author argues on the need to expand the United Nation's (UN) Universal Declaration of Human Rights to embrace all forms of life following the release of a UN report showing that as many as one million plant and animal species are threatened with extinction. Topics covered include the negative consequences of the disregard and contempt for the rights of other species, the contribution of humans to the extinction, and suggested universal rights as a standard of achievement for all peoples.
