La atención por los documentos electrónicos no supone el abandono por el interés de los documentos en soporte papel que siguen necesitando nuestra atención cuando ésta todavía es precisa.
En esta ocasión la necesidad se manifiesta a la hora de completar dos fondos documentales, el del Consulado de cargadores a Indias y el del Consulado marítimo y terrestre, conservados en el Archivo General de Indias y organizados y descritos desde 1979, a los que se van a incorporar un número considerable de documentos de dichas instituciones mercantiles que permanecían depositados en la Cámara de Comercio de Sevilla.
La restitución y la reintegración previstas mediante convenio me han incitado a volver a describirlos valiéndome de los elementos de descripción reconocidos en la ISAD(G) y aprovechando las monografías y artículos que, desde una perspectiva de historiadora tuve ocasión de publicar a lo largo de los años.

Interest in electronic records does not mean givin up the need for attention that paper records still have.
On this occasion, this need is manifested by completing two archival records funds : the consulate of shippers to the Indies and the consulate of maritime and sea. Both organized and described since 1979 are kept at the ´General Archive of Indies (Seville). Currently, to this found are going to incorporate a considerable number of original records belonging to the mercantile institutions they represent, which were deposited in custody at the Chamber of commerce of Seville.
The restitution and reintegration provided by a government agreement have encouraged me to re-describe them using the description elements recognized in the ISAD (G) and taking advantage of the monographs and articles that, from the perspective of a historian, I had the opportunity to publish throughout the years.
