Resumen de O livro, esse suporte contemporâneo do conhecimento

  A evolução dos suportes informacionais entra na era digital e tecnológica, trazendo com ela o surgimento de leitores eletrônicos considerados por alguns como possíveis substitutos para o livro impresso. Nessa perspectiva, este artigo apresenta uma discussão acerca da temática do possível desaparecimento do livro impresso e sua coexistência com os suportes de leitura em meio digital. Ao utilizar o método como estratégia, elege como operador cognitivo o livro Não contem com o fim do livro, de Umberto Eco e Jean-Claude-Càrriere para defender o argumento de que o livro na forma como o conhecemos hoje, não deixará de existir e nem poderá ser substituído pelos e-books e demais suportes. Para sustentar seus argumentos, discorre um breve histórico sobre a evolução dos suportes informacionais, destacando o caráter contemporâneo do livro na concepção da palavra defendida por Giorgio Agamben (atemporal, longe de visões determinísticas cronológicas-causais) em detrimento dos efêmeros suportes informacionais tecnológicos. De natureza bibliográfica, recorre a filósofos da ciência e da cultura, como Edgar Morin, Maria da Conceição de Almeida, Giorgio Agamben, Vandana Shiva, Pierre Levy, Umberto Eco, Roger Chartier, para a construção do referencial teórico. Como reflexão final considera que devemos propugnar pela coexistência entre os suportes e pela perenidade do livro como suporte responsável pela perpetuação da memória e da sabedoria humana

  The evolution of informational support enters lhe digital and technological age, bringing with it the emergence of electronic readers considered by some as a possible substitute for the printed book. From this perspective, this article presents a discussion about the subject of the possible demise of the printed book and its coexistence with reading media in digital media. By using the method as a strategy, chooses as cognitive operator the book. Do not count on the end of the book, Umberto Eco and Jean-Claude-Carriere to defend the argument that the book in the way we know it today, will not cease to exist and or it may be replaced by e-books and other media. To support its arguments, discusses a brief history of the evolution of informational support, highlighting the contemporary character of the book in the design of the word advocated by Giorgio Agamben (timeless, far from chronological-causal deterministic views) over ephemeral technological informational support. Bibliographical nature, uses philosophers of science and culture, as Edgar Morin, Maria da Conceição de Almeida, Giorgio Agamben, Vandana Shiva, Pierre Levy, Umberto Eco, Roger Chartier, for the construction of the theoretical framework. As a final thought believes that we should advocate the coexistence between the supports and the continuity of the book as support responsible for the perpetuation of memory and human sapience.
