  • The article lists major acquisitions and sales made by art museums in 2019 including a Mark Rothko painting sold by the SFMOMA, forty-five African artworks donated by collector Jean Pigozzi to the MoMA, and a gift of five thousand works by the artist Ithell Colquhoun gifted to the Tate.
