Resumen de El cambio en el pensamiento profesional del psicólogo escolar en formación

  En este artículo caracterizamos el cambio en el pensamiento profesional del psicólogo desde una perspectiva epistemológica y de desarrollo, durante su formación en la práctica. Participaron tres psicólogos inscritos en el Programa de Residencia en Psicología Escolar de la Maestría en Psicología Profesional (PREPSE) de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Se llevaron a cabo entrevistas abiertas guiadas por la observación de videos de la propia práctica profesional, antes y después del último semestre de formación. Los resultados muestran un proceso de cambio en el pensamiento del psicólogo manifestado en la forma de ver y dar sentido a sus autoridades, sus compañeros de formación, los clientes que reciben sus servicios y sus propias funciones profesionales. Al finalizar el semestre se identificó un pensamiento con un mayor grado de sofisticación, el cual se manifiesta como un pensamiento relativista y comprometido con la profesión.

  In this article the authors characterize the shift in the professional way of thinking of the psychologist from an epistemological and developmental point of view, during his/her training into practice. The participants were three psychologist enrolled in the Residency Program in School Psychology of the Master in Professional Psychology (Programa de Residencia en Psicología Escolar de la Maestría en Psicología Profesional, PREPSE) of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, UNAM). The data were gathered by means of open interviews guided by the observation of videotapes of the professional practice before and after the last training semester. The results show a process of change within the way of thinking of the psychologist that becomes evident in the way to consider and give a sense to their authorities, their training companions, the patients who receive their services and their own professional functions. By the end of the semester, the authors were able to observe a way of thinking characterized by a higher level of sophistication, which can be seen as a way of thinking at the same time relativistic and committed to the profession.
