Resumen de Tecnología y Servicios en los Centros de apoyo a la Innovación en España

En este artículo el marco conceptual de los sistemas de innovación sirve para plantear los centros tecnológicos como elementos clave del desarrollo.
Se describen y analizan las actividades y características, así como las relaciones con otros elementos del sistema. Mediante una batería de catorce variables, relacionadas con el desarrollo territorial, valoradas por los responsables de los centros, se han identificado tres tipos de factores cuyo conocimiento puede contribuir al mejor desarrollo de los centros tecnológicos. En el último bloque se reflexiona sobre las debilidades de estos mecanismos de interfaz, y la necesidad de reforzar la cultura tecnológica, para que puedan trabajar como verdaderos multiplicadores entre la ciencia y la industria. Aunque se observa una aproximación de las empresas, los centros realizan actividades no muy intensivas en ciencia, mantienen relaciones débiles con la universidad, y no alcanzan suficiente masa crítica. Los centros todavía tienen escasa dimensión como elementos del sistema de innovación para mover conocimientos hacia el sistema productivo y generar tecnologías avanzadas.

In this paper the conceptual frame of the systems innovation serves to raise the technological centers as elements key of the technological environment. Next they are described and analyzed the characteristics, activities and those others considered more important, as well as the relationships with another elements of the system. By means of a battery made of fourteen variables, related to the territorial environment, agents, policies, organization and markets, raised in the last point of the questionaire, and valued for a scale from one to five by the manager in charge, three types of factors have been identified whose knowledge can contribute to the best development of the technological centers. In the last block I think of the weaknesses of these interface mechanisms, and the need to reinforce the technological environment, in order that it may work as a real multiplier between the science and the industry. Though an approximation of the companies is detected, the centers carry out activities not very intensive in science, support weak relations with the university, and do not rely upon enough critical mass.
The technological centers still take a little dimension as elements of the system of innovation to move knowledges and to generate advanced technologies toward the productive system.
