En lo más íntimo: recuerdo y anhelo en “Shajarit” de Gloria Gervitz

    En este ensayo propongo leer “Shajarit”, el primer apartado de la obra de Gloria Gervitz (México 1943-) Migraciones, como el fruto del encuentro entre memoria y deseo. Constato que las mujeres que habitan el poema entregan a la voz que canta un mundo hecho de religión, diáspora, erotismo y trauma que el yo lírico pasa por la criba del anhelo. En la encrucijada entre la palabra poética y la experiencia se encuentran, así, las fuerzas de la añoranza por lo que pertenece al pasado ajeno y las del anhelo por lo porvenir propio. Argumento que Gervitz propone una antropología de lo subjetivo en su devenir histórico, cultural y comunitario. A lo largo de mi texto elaboro una reflexión sobre la intimidad, a partir de las ideas de Winnicott, Lacan y Yousef. Finalmente, sostengo que en la creación de Gervitz, la intimidad es el espacio donde se lleva a cabo la lucha entre la palabra y la experiencia, el yo y la otra, la historia y la pasión.

    In this essay, I propose to read “Shajarit”, the first section Migra-ciones, by Gloria Gervitz (Mexico 1943-), as the fruit of the encoun-ter between memory and desire. I depart from the observation that the women who inhabit the poem hand down to the voice that sings a world made of religion, diaspora, eroticism, trauma; a world distilled through the longings of the lyric self. At the crossroads of word and experience, the forces of recollection and desire meet and struggle. It is my contention that the Mexican poet proposes an anthropology of the subjective in its historical, cultural, and social evolution. Throughout my text, I elaborate a reflection on intimacy, based on the ideas of Winnicott, Lacan, Yousef. I finally argue that, in “Shajarit,” intimacy is the space where the struggle between word and experience, the self and the other, history and passion, takes place.
