Resumen de Pere Vergés Farrés (1896-1970):: un pedagogo de la competición ludicodeportiva

  Pere Vergés fue uno de los pedagogos de repercusión en el movimiento de renovación de la Escuela Nueva. En Cataluña, junto con figuras como Rosa Sensat, Artur Martorell o Alexandre Galí, aportó una visión educativa centrada en la sensibilidad, el niño y su autonomía. El objeto de este estudio es Pere Vergés. Se pretende aportar una nueva visión centrada en el ámbito competitivo-deportivo a los estudios existentes. A partir de una metodología basada en el análisis de las fuentes primarias, y con un conjunto de referencias que han tratado el tema, se concluye que Vergés mostró un carácter distintivo y único en su pedagogía. Contrariamente a los postulados de la no competición en los movimientos de Escola Nova, y manteniendo esta idea de renovación, incluyó la competición educativa como elemento singular

  Pere Vergés was one of the most prominent pedagogues in the New School’s movement to update education. In Catalonia, together with figures such as Rosa Sensat, Artur Martorell and Alexandre Galí, he contributed to a vision of education centred on sensitivity, the child and their autonomy. The subject of this study is Pere Vergés. It is intended to provide a new vision alongside the existing studies focused on the competitive- sports field. Using a methodology based on the analysis of primary sources, along with a complete set of references that have examined the subject, we conclude that Vergés showed a distinctive and unique character in his pedagogy. Contrary to the postulates of non-competition in the New School movements, yet while maintaining this idea of renewal, he included educational competition as a singular element
