  • The levels which contain carbonates are the essential ones both for litostratigraphic cqrrelation and facies analysis in the Upper Proterozoic series of the Central Iberian zone.

    In this work, several carbonatic outcrops in the Alcudia va/ley are studied, some of them for the first time. Ali the outcrops are related forming the only one leve/ with carbonates in that area (unidentified until now); its stratigraphic position in the «Upper Alcudiam is also advanced.
