En el archivo catedralicio de Jaca se ha conservado un rico fondo musical correspondiente a los maestros de capilla del cabildo jacetano. En esta ocasión se ha recuperado este fondo de partituras musicales, pertenecientes a los siglos XVII y XVIII, que tienen en común el estar dedicadas a Santa Orosia. Todas ellas, además de reflejar la importancia y el culto a esta devoción, son un ejemplo de la tradición musical de un cabildo que además de atender al culto supo crear obras musicales arraigadas en la tradición de nuestra tierra. Esta relación permitirá a historiadores y musicólogos acceder a un fondo que será el germen de estudios posteriores.

In the archives of Jaca cathedral, a rich and comprehensive musical heritage has been preserved which corresponds to the maestros of Jaca, of the chapel of the incumbents of the church.
Musical scores dating as far back as both the XVII and XVIII centuries have been discovered, all showing their devout dedication to Saint Orosia. All of them, on top of highlighting the importance and following of the aforementioned devotion to Saint Orosia, were also an example of the musical traditions of the incumbents of the church, which were not only for the benefit of their followers, but were also musical pieces with deep roots to local traditions. This connection has allowed historians and music experts to uncover archives that will be the seed from which future investigations will grow.
