The purpose of this article is to understand the Spinoza design affections, from which we can understand them ethical and politically. From that bias will be to the analysis of the emotional dynamics in the city. This to be understood in its social and political organization. In various ways, the city can be a place of collective life to the joy (autonomy) or sadness (servitude). Understanding the emotions in the city is trying to understand how the collective body is shaped politically permeated prays for freedom; now for serfdom.

O objetivo do presente artigo é, inicialmente, compreendermos a concepção espinosana de afetos, a partir da qual possamos entendê-los ético-politicamente. A partir desse viés, fazer-se-á a análise da dinâmica afetiva na cidade. Esta como sendo compreendida na sua organização social e política. De variadas maneiras, a cidade poderá ser um lugar da vida coletiva para a alegria (autonomia) ou tristeza (servidão). Entender os afetos na cidade é tentar compreender como o corpo coletivo se configura politicamente, permeado ora pela liberdade; ora pela servidão.
