    En la investigación sobre la implantación deljuego de la pelotaen los centros históricos, se hanobservado similitudes entre los espacios, donde eljuego se ha implantado en las construccionesamuralladas; desde las primeras representaciones delespacio del juego en la cartografía histórica, entre lossiglos XVIII-XIX, hasta su transformación a las plazas yespacios donde se practica actualmente el juego. Lageometría y proporción de este espacio, analizadodesde las características del propio juego; comosistema para comprobar la modalidad del juego quepudiera haberse practicado, en el periodo en que serepresenta en la cartografía.

    In the investigation on the implantation of the game of the ball in the historical centers, similarities between the spaces have been observed, where the game has been implanted in the walled constructions; from the first representations of the space of the game in the historical cartography, between the XVIII-XIX centuries, until its transformation to the squares and spaces where the game is currently practiced. The geometry and proportion of this space, analyzed from the characteristics of the game itself; as a system to check the modality of the game that could have been practiced, in the period in which it is represented in the cartography.
