La Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos hace un amplio uso de la prueba testifical y pericial. No obstante ello, la regulación de dicha prueba en el Reglamento de la Corte es muy escasa. Por ello, el presente estudio sistematiza las prácticas de la Corte Interamericana respecto de la prueba testifical y pericial, evaluando si tales prácticas son adecuadas.

The Inter-American Court of Human Rights engages in a wide use of witness and expert witness evidence. In spite of this, the norms that regulate this matter in the Court’s Rules or Procedure are scarce. Because of this lack of regulation, this work systematizes the Inter-American Court’s practice regarding these kinds of evidence, and evaluates whether they are adequate.
