Resumen de Un debate en torno al problema de la estructura y contenido de la percepción visual

El objetivo de este trabajo es bosquejar una respuesta sobre el contenido de la percepción visual acorde con los principios del realismo directo. Para hacerlo, se presenta, en sus puntos esenciales, un debate en torno a este tema llevado a cabo por los filósofos americanos Alva Noë y Jesse Prinz; es analizada, en primer lugar, la respuesta de la teoría enactivista sobre la percepción visual, representada en este debate por Noë, que funda la realidad de su contenido en la síntesis entre el sentido visual y las habilidades motoras del sujeto. Luego, se señalan algunas críticas que ha recibido la teoría enactiva, propuesta por Noë, desde un punto de vista internista a cargo de Prinz. Por último, presento una posible solución al debate desde la teoría disyuntiva de la percepción, al hacerse cargo de las críticas recién propuestas al enactivismo y confirma la idea principal que este trabajo busca defender, a saber, que la percepción visual lidia con objetos reales independientes de la mente de quien los experimenta.

The aim of this work is to outline an answer about the content of visual perception according to the principles of Direct Realism. In order to do that, it is presented, in its essentials points, a debate on this topic that has been realized by the American philosophers Alva Noë and Jesse Prinz; it is analyzed, in the first place, the answer about the visual perception of the Enactive Theory, represented in this debate by Noë, that grounds the reality of their content in the synthesis between the visual sense and the motor skills of the body of the subject. Then, are pointed out some critics that the Enactive Theory has received from an internist point of view, represented in this debate by Prinz. Finally, I show a possible solution to this debate, from the Disjunctive Theory of Perception, that deals properly with the critics proposed to Enactivism by Prinz and maintains the principal idea that this work aims to defend, i.e. that visual perception has to do with real objects that are independent of the mind of who is experience them.
