Resumen de ¿Se escuchan nuestras voces? La radio cultural indigenista: Una experiencia en México

En este ensayo se presentan los resultados de las investigaciones realizadas durante 1990 y 1991 en las áreas de influencia de las radiodifusoras indigenistas: "La voz de Chinantla", Oaxaca (XEOJN); "La Voz de las Huastecas", San Luis de Potosí (XEANT), y "La Voz de la Montaña", Guerrero (XEZV), las que constituyen un acercamiento exploratorio al consumo cultural de los medios de comunicación en la cobertura de las citadas emisoras, así como revelan los hábitos de recepción del auditorio del medio radiofónico. Cabe anotar que el estudio se desarrolló desde la perspectiva del receptor; por ello, el trabajo no da cuenta de manera específica de la oferta de los medios de comunicación, sino más bien intenta aproximarse al consumo cultural a partir de temáticas como la propiedad de la radio y la televisión, la antigüedad en la posesión del medio.

In this essay the results of the investigations carried out during 1990 and 1991 in the areas of influence of the indigenist radio stations are presented: "La voz de Chinantla", Oaxaca (XEOJN); "The Voice of the Huastecas", San Luis de Potosí (XEANT), and "The Voice of the Mountain", Guerrero (XEZV), which constitute an exploratory approach to the cultural consumption of the media in the coverage of the aforementioned stations, as well as revealing the reception habits of the radio audience. It should be noted that the study was developed from the receiver's perspective; for this reason, the work does not specifically account for the offer of the media, but rather tries to approach cultural consumption based on topics such as ownership of radio and television, seniority in the possession of the medium.
