The founders of the Holy Amparo Christ and Holy Mary Nazarene Brotherhood were former prisoners of the several jails Frente Popular had in the city of Almendralejo. The Brotherhood was legalized by the Civil Government of the región on March the third in 1938. Nevertheless, it is the seventh of August of 1936 the date it was taken as the constitutional date of the Brotherhood since this is the day the National tropos entered in the city and freed the survival prisoners. The first Major Brother was the businessman Mr. Manuel Loza Calvo, being elected surrounded by relevant men of the emerging régimen.
