    La mayor parte del patrimonio marítimo europeo está destruido. Sus componentes: buques, embarcaciones y artefactos flotantes quedaron obsoletos y además incumplían las normas internacionales de seguridad marítima.

    En las últimas décadas el interés creciente de los ciudadanos en recuperar y proteger este patrimonio se hace mediante organizaciones privadas y algunas este patrimonio se hace mediante organizaciones privadas y algunas actuaciones de las administraciones.

    En el ámbito internacional, se firmó en el año 2005, el Wihelmshaven MoU, donde se establecieron criterios comunes para proteger y navegar con seguridad buques “tradicionales”.

    En el ámbito interno, la Disposición Adicional 8.ª de la Ley de Navegación Marítima da un mandato al Gobierno para que mediante reglamento cree un registro especial y establezca medidas de protección de este patrimonio.

    En esta ponencia se desarrolla la situación actual del patrimonio marítimo y las líneas del proyecto de Reglamento.

    Most of Europe’s maritime heritage is destroyed. Its components: ships, boats and floating artifacts are obsolete and in breach of maritime safety standards.

    In recent decades there has been growing interest from citizens to recover and protect this heritage through private organizations and some actions of the administrations.

    At the international level, the Wihelmshaven MoU was signed in 2005 to create common criteria to establish, protect and safely navigate “traditional” ships.

    In the domestic sphere, Additional Provision 8 of the Maritime Navigation Law mandates the Government to create a special registry and establish measures to protect this heritage.

    In this talk will present the current situation and the direction of the regulations.
