    Nuestro trabajo pretende ofrecer una lectura pormenorizada de la película de terror española Verónica (Paco Plaza, 2017). Para ello, usaremos una metodología de análisis textual narratológico en los siguientes aspectos: estructura, construcción y desarrollo del personaje, la visualización del contexto social y la crisis de las identidades. Pretendemos así explicitar las claves de aquellos elementos más importantes en la generación de procesos de significación desde una perspectiva semiótica, así como su relación con la problemática histórico-contextual en la que se sitúan los hechos de la película.

    Our work tries to offer a detailed reading of the Spanish horror movie Veronica (Paco Plaza, 2017). In order to achieve our goal, we will use a methodology based on textual analysis focused on the following aspects: structure, building and development of the main character, presentation of the social context and of the crisis of the inner personalities. We will try to explain the most relevant elements in the generation of signification processes from a semiotic perspective, and the relation between the concrete historic-contextual problems in which the events represented in the film took place.
