En este ensayo se analiza, partiendo de la obra de Benzenoi Netanyahu The Origins of the Inquisition in Fifteenth Century Spain, la relación existente entre la Inquisición española y la diáspora judía, entre antisemitismo y racismo. El autor nos ofrece un enfoque contemporáneo de esta cuestión, utilizando incluso los análisis biopolíticos de Foucault. A lo largo del ensayo se enfrenta esta visión, la del propio autor, con la conservadora perspectiva de Netanyahu.

Taking Benzion Netanyahu’s The Origins of the Inquisition in Fifteenth Century Spain as the point of departure, this essay analyzes the relationship between the Spanish Inquisition and Jewish diaspora, between anti-semitism and racism. The author offers as a contemporary reading of this question, taking issue with Foucault’s notion of biopolitics, against Netanyahu’s conservative perspective.
