    Este trabajo tiene como objetivo fundamental analizar las relaciones paterno-filiales a través del examen de las disposiciones testamentarias de la aristocracia hispánica. En primer lugar, estudiamos los principales argumentos reiterados por la tratadística moralizante de la época. Analizado el marco teórico, profundizamos, en segundo lugar, en la práctica testamentaria desplegada por el grupo aristocrático mediante el examen de una serie de casos-testamentos otorgados entre los años finales del siglo XVI y comienzos del XVIII con el fin de conocer las obligaciones más importantes encomendadas por los padres a los hijos. En tercer lugar, realizamos una valoración crítica de los resultados más sobresalientes para tratar de contextualizar dicha práctica en la cultura nobiliaria del periodo moderno y evaluar su papel como núcleo básico de los procesos de reproducción social de la aristocracia.

    The main objective of this work is to analyze the paternal-filial relationships through the examination of the testamentary dispositions of the Hispanic aristocracy. In the first place we study the main arguments reiterated by the moralizing treatise of the time. Analyzed the theoretical framework, we deepened, secondly, in the testamentary practice deployed by the aristocratic group through the examination of a series of cases-testaments granted in the final years of the sixteenth and early eighteenth centuries with the objective of knowing the most important obligations important tasks entrusted by parents to their children. Third, we make a critical assessment of the most outstanding results to try to contextualize them in the nobiliary culture of the modern period and and evaluate its role as the basic nucleus of the processes of social reproduction of the aristocracy.
