Resumen de Una representación diferente del imán Alí en la miniatura islámica

  En este trabajo presentamos una nueva forma de representar al imán Alí en la miniatura islámica, en concreto en el códice Hayder Nameh, que se encuentra catalogado con el número 80 de Historia persa en la Biblioteca Nacional de Egipto en El Cairo. El cuerpo del imán aparece totalmente oculto, en lugar de utilizar un halo de luz alrededor de su rostro o la ocultación sus rasgos faciales como venía siendo habitual en las ilustraciones. Esta forma de cubrir todos los detalles del imán Alí es una nueva forma de interpretar la aplicación del aniconismo en el arte islámico.

  In this paper we introduce a new representation for Imam Ali in Islamic miniatures; veiling all his body, not only facial features, by fire circle as a new style of his illuminations in Islamic miniatures. This appearance found in the manuscript of Hayder Nameh at the National Library in Cairo. Usually he is represented with halo of light around his face, or sometimes by veiling his face, and other illustrations he is appeared normally with all facial features. The new presented representation in this article could be interpreted as aniconism in the Islamic art.
