• The Veleta Unit and the Mu/hacen nappe Group (Calar Alto and Bédar-Macael Nappes) make up the Nevado-Filábride Comp/ex. The westward movement of the both nappes occurred along NW to WSW trajectories. In the Sierra Nevada, the nappe pile is strongly thinned.
