  • Resumen
    • Oriani was consecrated by Mussolini in 1924 with the translation of his body into the Cardello, which became the writer's sepulchral mausoleum. And such glorification of the «precursor» marked the beginning of Mussolini's cult of his own personality. This essay focuses on the religious, emotional and cultic aspects which helped make Oriani a «martyr» to be avenged. His myth took on a militant value, being able to engage people, like the plot of a novel, and to arouse consent for the Fascist regime, which gave the illusion that anyone could participate in a campaign for justice in History.
