The anthology is one of the supports that link the symbolic material of a national literature, and the anthological chronotope refers us to the idea of a map; a map of a treasure that sometimes is exhibited and at other times veils itself in false signals. The anthology can rescue "past" texts, fall redundantly upon works already established in literary history, or preserve contemporary works for the anthologist. Effectively the conventional idea we have of it is that of a new object formed by others already written, which are recovered and assembled. To which we can ask if preexisting text means edited. Our analysis of the anthologies of the second half of the twentieth century in Argentina allowed us to note that some accompany the writing process of the texts, are made up of writings by order, and / or are made with the intervention of an anthologist who orders, suggestions, and retouches.
