  • This work is organized in order to present the Brazilian National Hydro Resources Policy, highlighting its importance for the environmental protection and guarantee of water quality and, particularly, the creation of an Information System on Hydro Resources. It is presented the SG-Hydro Project, aimed at the application of those guidelines for the organization and retrieval of environmental information and the integration of public policies.
