  • Resumen
    • The under-representation of women in technical fields can be seen all over the world. Engineering has traditionally been thought of as a masculine field and there is a lack of exemplary role-models for women in technical fields. To increase the interest of young women in technical areas the project 'E-Girls - Towards technology' was started. In practice, a virtual course called "Electric, Electronics and Environment" will be implemented. In the creation of teaching material it will be taken into account that girls are more interested in the practical uses of the electrical applications than the mechanics. The aim of this paper is to introduce the project 'E-Girls - Towards tecnology', and discuss why this kind of project is needed and present the goals of the project.
