This study examines how Web sites dedicated to consumer-to-consumer interaction enable consumers to review products and services and get in touch with other consumers. It has turned out that these Web sites facilitate three different types of asynchronous interaction, including discussion threads, product reviews, and questions & answers. Further, the results indicate that consumer-to-consumer Web sites take measures to engender trust, assure the quality of users' contributions, and increase motivation among participants.
