Este artículo centra su desarrollo en hacer ver al lector que servicio público y prestaciones de aseguramiento aluden a cosas bien distintas y que la confusión, intencionada o no, de ambos, no beneficia al Estado del Bienestar.
Este artículo quiere llamar la atención de los autores de estudios sobre Derecho Sanitario en España para que se sometan al rigor de la doctrina del Derecho Administrativo utilizando correctamente el concepto servicio público y el de prestación dentro del aseguramiento del Estado.
