Resumen de Disidencias artísticas en la Transición: Prácticas, historias y memorias

Este artículo indaga en los modos en que se entrecruzaron la disidencia y las artes plásticas en la España de los años setenta con el objetivo de aproximarse a “otras” experiencias de la Transición que también habrían de considerarse entre las que hicieron que ésta fuera “vivida como cultura”. Asimismo, presta atención a cómo la historia del arte ha narrado estas actividades artísticas críticas, planteando en qué medida éstas han podido tener un impacto en cómo los artistas las valoran, recuerdan y cuentan actualmente. Se analizan dos casos de estudio que presentan interesantes paralelismos, así como divergencias notables: la red de Estampa Popular y el colectivo de La Familia Lavapiés

This article investigates the ways in which dissent and the visual arts crossed paths in Spain during the 1970s with the aim of understanding “other” experiences of the Transition that should also be considered among those that made that the Transition was “lived as culture”.
It is argued that the ways in which art history has narrated those critical art activities might have had an impact on how artists assess, remember and tell them nowadays. Two case studies are analysed: the network of Estampa Popular and the collective of La Familia Lavapiés. They bear interesting similarities as well as notable divergences
