Resumen de Edipo, hijo de la fortuna

Francisco Rodríguez Adrados

  • It is difficult to appreciate Oedipus' character as presented in the play by Sophocles, if, as Adrados points out, we don't take in account ail its nuances. So, although Oedipus is always seen as toy of the chance or of the Fortune, he is a hero who fights untill he becomes, without knowing it, a pattern or prototype of the whole humanity.
